Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Notice have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Service (the “Terms”).
Bond Shop, Inc. (“BOND,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) grants access to the BOND mobile application (the “BOND App”) and BOND Services subject to this Privacy Notice. The BOND App and Bond Services together are the “Services.” We may make changes to this Privacy Notice, and so be sure to check back from time to time. Each version of this Privacy Notice will be indicated by the last updated date at the top. By accessing the Services after we make any such changes to this Privacy Policy, you are deemed to have accepted such changes.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority in your state of residence (a minor), please do not give us any personal information. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s mobile and Internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Notice by instructing their children to never provide personal information without their permission. We may delete and terminate your account or block your access to the Services without warning if we believe that you are a minor. If you have reason to believe that a minor has provided personal information to us, please contact us at dataprivacy@joinbond.co, and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.
While operating the Services, BOND collects or receives the following types of information:
Your Contact Information
When you create an account on the Services, we ask for your name, email address and a BOND username. We use such contact information to communicate with you in connection with your use of the Services, such as to help you retrieve your password, to provide customer support related to the Services, and on connection with similar transactional communications with you.
We collect the referring URL from which you reached the Services (a “Referring URL”), such as Instagram, Tik Tok, an advertisement for our Services or the BOND landing page. A Referring URL does not include personal data that identifies you or which could be used to identify you.
Geolocational Information
We may, with your consent, automatically collect geolocation information from your mobile device. This consent may be provided by you on the device level (e.g., you have consented to location services generally) or by accepting our request for geolocation access on the Services. Please consult your mobile device’s documentation regarding how to turn off location services for the BOND App.
Onward Transfer to Third-Party Service Providers.
We may share the information that we collect about you with third parties to help run our Services and to analyze your use of the Services, but only to the extent needed for them to provide such services. The types of companies that may receive personal information and their functions are hosting services, technical assistance, database management/back-up services, use analytics, email marketing platforms, and customer service.
We may also disclose personal information to our parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, joint ventures, or other companies under common control in order in connection with providing the Services to you.
If you elect to purchase an Item from a Merchant, you will be required to provide certain billing information, such as your credit card number, expiration date, bank account information, billing address, activation code, and similar information (collectively, “Billing Information”) to a third-party payment vendor. BOND does not collect, store, process, transmit or maintain Billing Information. If you request a refund from a Merchant, the payment vendor will process the reversal of charges from the Merchant.
In the event of a merger, dissolution, reorganization or similar corporate event, or the sale of all or substantially all our assets, we expect that the information that we have collected, including personal information, would be transferred to the surviving entity in a merger or the acquiring entity. All such transfers shall be subject to our commitments with respect to the privacy and confidentiality of such personal information as set forth in this Privacy Notice.
We are required to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including for the purpose of meeting national security or law enforcement requirements. We may also disclose personal information to other third parties when compelled to do so by government authorities or required by law or regulation including, but not limited to, in response to court orders and subpoenas.
In an ongoing effort to better understand our users and the Services, we might analyze your information in aggregate form to operate, maintain, manage, and improve one or all of them. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. We may share this aggregate data with our affiliates, agents, and business partners. We may also disclose aggregated user statistics to describe the Services to current and prospective business partners and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.
You may opt out at any time from the use of your personal information for direct marketing purposes and/or the transfer of your personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of any BOND marketing email and following the instructions found on the page to which the link takes you. You cannot opt out of receiving transactional e-mails from BOND.
BOND takes very seriously the security and privacy of the personal information that it collects in connection with providing the Services to you. Accordingly, we implement reasonable and appropriate security measures to (a) protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, taking into account the risks involved in processing and the nature of such data, and (b) comply with applicable laws and regulations. Please understand that no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases or the databases of the third parties with which we may share your information (as permitted herein), nor can we guarantee that the information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted over the Internet. In particular, e-mail sent to us may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail.
Your United States’ state of residence may give you certain rights with respect to data that identifies you or could be used to identify you, such as the right to (a) correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data, or (b) delete your personal data. BOND respects your rights with respect to your personal data and welcomes your inquiries. If you wish to get in touch with respect to your data subject rights under the laws of your state, please send email to dataprivacy@joinbond.co.
The Services may contain links to third-party websites (“External Sites”). BOND has no control over the privacy practices or the content of any such External Sites. As such, we are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of such External Sites. You should check the applicable privacy policy and terms of use when visiting any such External Sites.
If you wish to delete you BOND account, please email your request with "Delete My Account” in the subject line to dataprivacy@joinbond.co. Deleting your BOND account will permanently delete your account and your contact information and geolocation information from the Services. Please note that deleting your BOND account will not automatically delete your Billing Information from a third-party payment vendor. Once you have deleted your BOND account, it cannot be recovered.
If you have questions about this Privacy Notice, please e-mail us at dataprivacy@joinbond.co. with “Privacy Notice” in the subject line.
